Started in 2007In 2007, Laurie Kokmeyer started a business because of her experience in computer science and education. She also considered the rise in Michigan's unemployment and saw a niche in developing websites for new entrepreneurs.

In 2009, a new company name, Realize Websites LLC, was chosen for marketing reasons. The new name, logo, brochures, business cards, colors, social media, and website took into account the research on successfully marketing and growing your business.
