Why: To build connections with clients and customers

Who: Anyone that has a desire to make a Facebook Business Page

When: Tuesday, March 11, 2014, 6-7:30 pm

  • Laptop or tablet that you can connect to the Dexter District Library's Wi-Fi.
  • Name of business you want to create a Business Facebook Page for.
  • A Profile (logo/photo) picture (180 x 180 px) to represent your business (in .jpg format stored on your computer).
  • A cover* (header) picture (851 x 315 px) to represent your brand or showcase a product or service (in .jpg format stored on your computer).
  • 2 sentences about your business so people understand what you do.

*Cover photos cannot include:

  • Price or purchase information, such as “40% off” or “Download it at our website”.
  • Contact information such as a website address, email, mailing address, or information that should go in your Page’s “About” section.
  • References to Facebook features or actions, such as “Like” or “Share” or an arrow pointing from the cover photo to any of these features.
  • Calls to action, such as “Get it now” or “Tell your friends”.
  • Covers must not be false, deceptive or misleading, and must not infringe on third parties’ intellectual property.
